MTS’s Mobile Money Solution targets cellular users who do not have bank accounts and extends the MTS’s MVNE offering. The solution is also offered as standalone product to financial service providers (FSPs), mobile network operators (MNOs) and Governmental and Educational Institutions allowing them to provide financial services to their users such as cash deposit, withdrawal, balance query, money transfers, goods purchases, remittances and bill payments. This is done using a mobile phone while supporting various access methods such as: STK, SMS, USSD, Smart Phones App and Web. The solution also manages the customer lifecycle, agents and merchant accounts and budgeted accounts that allow the allocation and dedication of funds to purchase certain goods.
